Open a long or a short
A long gains when the price rises and a short gains when it falls; leverage makes both moves bigger.
Follow these steps
- On Home, tap Perps and pick a market. Then tap Long or Short at the bottom.
- Type the Position size. It is the full size of the trade; your own money in it shows as Margin.
- Set Leverage with the slider, from 1x up to the market's maximum.
- Check Liquidation price. Want a stop loss? Tap Add SL/TP now, see Set a stop loss or close a position.
- Slide the bar at the bottom to the right. The position shows on the market's screen.

“Long ETH 5x with $50”
Your agent reads $50 as your own money, so it prepares an Order card for a $250 position. Nothing opens until you tap Confirm. This needs the agent switch on.
If it didn't work
- It says your Perps pocket is empty? Tap Move cash under the slider, or move money with Transfer.
- The slider says Minimum and an amount? That is the market's smallest order. Raise the size.
- The slider says Insufficient funds? Lower the size, or add money to your Perps pocket.
