My position closed by itself

A position closes on its own for one of a few reasons, and your history shows which one.

Follow these steps

  1. Open your profile, tap Closed, then Perps. Each row shows how the position ended and its result.
  2. Tagged autopilot? Autopilot opened and closed it by itself, with money from your Autopilot pocket. Positions you open stay separate.
  3. Did the price reach the Liquidation price? Then the exchange closed it, and the margin in it is lost.
  4. Set a Stop Loss or Take Profit? When the price reached it, the position closed. With notifications on, an alert says which.
  5. Switched your agent off, removed the trading permission, or tapped Stop autopilot? Each closes the positions Autopilot opened. Positions you opened stay open.
Or ask your agent

“Why did my BTC position close?”

Your agent reads your trade history and tells you when it closed and at what price. For an Autopilot trade, it won't explain the strategy.

If it didn't work

  • Autopilot's daily brake doesn't close anything. After a 20% loss in a day, it only stops opening new trades until the next day.
  • A prediction closes by itself when its market ends. See A round has no result yet.
  • Think it closed by mistake? Tell your agent the market and the time. With its switch on, it can pass it to the team.
